This week's WPS Staff Spotlight is Amber Goebel! Staff compliments about Mrs. Goebel: Mrs. Goebel is a one-of-a-kind teacher. Ever since Mrs. Goebel took the 6th grade position four years ago; she has worked hard every single year to create a learning environment that fits her students and brings out the best teaching style for herself. Mrs. Goebel is willing to work with all students and encourages them to be the best that they can be, while challenging them to take chances in their learning. Mrs. Goebel is willing to help out wherever she can in school and in our community. I am so glad that Mrs. Goebel is a member of our staff, and I look forward to working with her for many years to come.

Day 2 of Homecoming! Reminder Coronation starts at 1:00 pm today in the Gym, and is open to the public!

JH FOOTBALL UPDATE: The game vs Napoleon on Thursday, September 26 has been cancelled. They will now have practice on Thursday.

Tonight, our elementary girls' basketball team will play Linton-HMB in Wishek starting at 4:30. There will be two games. Attached is the link for those of you interested in viewing. Staff Spotlight this week is Mr. Colin Crabtree Comments from staff about Mr. Crabtree: -Has his own unique way of teaching. -He gets himself involved with many activities in the school and community....truly a team player. -Dedicated and dependable -He is always ready and willing to help when needed. -Mr. Crabtree is willing to take some of the tougher jobs without a second thought.

Monday, September 23 JH/JV Football Update: South Border vs HSA @ Selby-The JH (7th/8th) will start at 4:30 and play 3 quarters. Immediately following (roughly 5:00) the 8th/9th graders will play 3 quarters. Please note that this is both a location and time change from the original schedule in early August. Breakfast for Friday the 20th will be a doughnut and not breakfast pizza.

Good luck to our girl's golf team as they head to Napoleon for the region team qualifier.

School Accountability Report

This week's Staff Spotlight featuring Rebecca Schnabel Compliments towards Mrs. Schnabel Becky will always do what is best for children. If she has an opportunity to help a child, she will do so. She is committed to making our school better by volunteering to be part of committees and to go the extra mile for any extra duties within the school. She keeps meticulous notes and records. She is organized and focused on whatever task she starts; she will finish, and it will be done well.

There will be two different events that will be livestreamed today. The elementary girls basketball team will play Kidder County in Wishek and JH/C/Varsity volleyball will be playing Strasburg/Zeeland in Ashley.
