The South Border Mustang football team will travel to New England on Saturday, Oct. 19 for first round playoff action against Hettinger County. Kickoff will be at 1:30MT/2:30CST.

JH Volleyball Update: There will only be ONE match vs Kidder County on Tuesday in the armory. As there will only be one match, the start time has been changed to 4:00. Thank you.

Tonight is senior night for two of our Mustang football players. They will be recognized at halftime of the game. Kidder County is coming to town with kickoff starting at 7pm.

Parent-Teacher conferences will be held Wednesday, October 16, from 2:30-9:00.
Students in grades PK-3 will be bringing home slips this week for your child's scheduled time(s).
Conferences for grades 4-6 will be held in their classrooms. Parents will have the opportunity to meet with each teacher, but patience will be needed as each teacher is trying to meet with 60 families. If you would rather email them, or set up a time to call, please feel free to take this approach as well.
Parents who have students in grades 7-12 will sign up for times with teachers online. Each slot is set for 10 minutes. These teachers will be located in their classroom. This sign up page will ask for parent's email address, but you are not required to list a phone number Please be patient as this is something new we are trying this year. Tonight, the lady Mustangs will take on the Lamoure-LM Loboes at Wishek. The JH girls get started in the armory at 3:30 with 2 matches being played. The C squad starts at 5:00 with JV and varsity to follow. There will be a pie auction, and doughnuts will be sold for pink night.

Tuesday, Oct. 15th at the Volleyball game, there will be a free will donation dinner for Mrs. Dalke, and PINK hair extensions so you can show your support!
Please come join us help raise money for Mrs. Dalke and cheer on the Mustang Volleyball Girls!


The hydration test for wrestling (boys and girls) will take place in the armory on Monday, October 21. Wishek athletes who plan on wrestling will start at 3:30 immediately after school. Coach Hoffman will be bringing a bus from Ashley, which will leave after school.

Staff spotlight of the week goes to... Josh Wiest
He has found a great place in his teaching and his dedication to WPS is remarkable.
Always willing to help, gets involved and is here for the students.
Has been a great teacher, friend, and mentor. A solid asset to the faculty
He is extremely intelligent and takes pride in what he does.
Josh has worn a lot of hats around the school over the last decade, which has earned him the respect of many.


World's Finest Chocolate kick off is today!! The boxes will be sent home after school with students who are participating in grades PK-6. PK students will get their boxes on Monday.
