Congrats to our girls wrestling team for a job well done over the weekend at state. South Border placed 10th overall (there is only one division for girls wrestling) and has continued to build their program from year to year. Congratulations, ladies! The Mustang boys basketball team will begin district tournament play Friday in Jamestown. This promises to be a very competitive tournament!

PK-6 PARENTS: The coffee and snacks fundraiser packets/payment are due today. If you forgot to send them to school, please note that they will be accepted until WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 21 AT NOON. Thank you!!!

Tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon there will be a pep rally starting at 1:00 for both the boys and girls wrestling teams who will be heading to state this weekend. Most of us take for granted that the wrestling team is making "just another trip to state"......but this program has been built and established in our communities. Our boys wrestling team will be sending 12 wrestlers to the individual tournament and they will also be competing in the dual tournament on Saturday. The girls program will be sending 5 wrestlers to the individual state tournament and continues to be a growing program. Best of luck to all of our athletes, stats, and coaches this weekend.

The spelling bee was originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 14 but it has been changed to TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 13 at 10am in Ashley.

6th Grade is hosting a Bravery Backpack Drive. Please take a look at the posters and see what you can help us donate.

Kidder County will only be able to play 2 quarters of JV tonight (boys basketball). The JV will start at 6:00 with the varsity game to follow. This will obviously push up the start time of the varsity game.

The attached document is information regarding "Pee Wee" wrestling from Coach Mike vanGorkom. A hard copy of this will also be sent home with your child.

Good luck to the South Border Girls' Basketball team as they travel to Ellendale tonight to play the Cardinals for a spot in the District 2 Tournament starting on Friday, February 9. The game will be streamed on NFHS. Photo credit to Staci Just Photography.
