We will be hosting an elementary wrestling tournament Tuesday, March 19 in the gym. Wrestling will begin at 5pm. You will be sure to see plenty of Mustangs as there are roughly 100 elementary wrestlers (boys and girls) between the combined schools of Ashley, Wishek, and Zeeland.

The following is the schedule for the elementary volleyball jamboree in Medina on Tuesday, March 19.
I am working on developing a strategic plan for Wishek Public School. We have 4 committees established that each need 2 community members. The 4 committees are: Academic Engagement, Technology, School Culture and Climate, and Long-Term Facilities planning. The plan is to have a maximum total of 4 meetings that will last a maximum of 1 hour each. Each member will receive $50/meeting. The goal is to have the first meeting before the school year is out, with further meetings to take place next fall. Elementary Volleyball Jamboree Schedule 2024
The fundraiser items (coffee and snacks) will be brought home today with your child. They will also have the original sales copy to help you distribute accordingly. If anyone ordered from the online store, those items will be shipped directly to their house. Thank you for another successful fundraiser!
Attached is information regarding the Elementary Volleyball Jamboree in Steele (Kidder County) on March 12, 2024.
March 8th will be the last day school will pay for in-town busing for the winter season. Parents will assume the cost for the remainder of the year.
Just a reminder that next week Thursday, March 14 there will be parent-teacher conferences. School will dismiss early at 2:00 on this day. We will not have school Friday, March 15. We will be back in session with classes starting at normal time on Monday, March 18.
Elementary volleyball will be in the Wishek High School gym on both Monday and Tuesday (March 4 and March 5). Practice will resume in the Civic Center on Thursday (March 7).
Reading Month 2024
Mr. Crabtree took his Sociology class to Jamestown yesterday. They toured the Anne Carlsen Center and learned about job opportunities. They were also able to use assistive technology and see what different disabilities are like.

The South Border boys' basketball team will be playing Lamoure-LM at 5:30 this evening for a chance to go to the region tournament. Attached is the updated bracket. Tonight's games will be televised on BEK sports. Best of luck gentlemen!!!
The tractor restoration class has things coming along nicely. They took on a big project starting this fall and I am excited to see the final product.
The elementary track meet will take place on Wednesday, May 1. The tentative start time is 12:00. More details to follow.
Wishek Public School has two paraprofessional openings. These positions are still looking to be filled for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year and will carry over into employment for next year.
