Wishek attended their first speech meet in Jamestown on Saturday, January 24th. Here are the events they competed in: Kennedy Mulske (EPR Humerous interp), Braelynn Wenger (poetry serious duo), Paison Becker, (poetry serious duo) Ashlyn Michaelsohn (poetry dramatic interp)

Braelynn and Paison received 8th place for their serious duo.

Message from the Music room,
The 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students are invited to sing the Star-Spangled Banner at two of the basketball games next week. The 6th grade is in charge of singing at the boys varsity basketball game here at the school on Monday, January 26th. The 4th and 5th will be singing on Tuesday the 27th at the girls game.

This is completely optional, but if they want to show their school pride and patriotism, they are invited to come. Please be at the music room at 7pm and we will run it though a few times before we sing. Students singing the Star-Spangled Banner get in free to the basketball game.
